And the Shia (followers) of Ali [as] they are those who do not mind death being inflicted upon them or meeting with death upon the path of God. And the Shia of Ali [as] are those who give preference to their brothers [in faith] before their own selves - even if they are [themselves] in poverty. They are those who God does not see where he has forbidden them and does not fail to find them wherever he commanded them. They are those who follow the example of Ali [as] in reverence/generosity of his believing brethren.
